Dr. Patel earned her M.D. from SBKS Medical Institute & Research Center in Vadodara, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, where she also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Patel is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. Her professional memberships include the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
