Dr. Donald Girard attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina for his undergraduate education and Hahnemann Medical College in Pennsylvania for his medical degree. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania, followed by his Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. He is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Girard’s clinical interests include colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding. He is also fluent in Spanish.
